The M1 Princes Motorway (aka F6) at Dapto, has no entry or exit ramps on the southern sides of Kanahooka Road, Fowlers Road or Emerson Road.

Dapto is a huge growth centre in the Illawarra, and more and more people need access between Dapto and the southern districts, such as Shellharbour, Kiama and Nowra. Presently, this means travelling through Mount Brown on Dapto's only North bound M1 exit ramp, or South bound M1 entry ramp.

As Commonwealth, state and local governments have worked together to fund the Fowlers road bridge, it's time to resolve Dapto's access problem entirely, by building additional ramps on and off the M1.

The signatures on this petition call on our elected officials to prioritise funding for planning and construction of M1 on and off ramps on Kanahooka Road, Fowlers Road and/or Emerson Road.
