Hey Everyone, Quick update, we've got 73 signatures so far and we just started this movement a few days ago! 27 more and we'll blow by 100! That means that if less than half of everyone reading this right now was able to convince just 1 person to sign the petition, we'd fly past 100 without even looking back! WE can do this. Keeping sharing, keep talking, keep up the pressure and support. I was enjoying North Shore the other day and was struck by the pier, spa beach, and the things that I was looking at across the water. The possibilities, the excitement of picturing that space as an ecologically sustainable public green space. I was taken aback by it and so I released a video born of spontaneity basically giving a run down of why Blue Pier is so important. This is about not having our public funds squandered on a structure in the hopes that it will serve some phantom iconic status. This is about understanding the expertise of modern urban design that illustrates the very thing we hold dear: An emphasis on building activated, public, green space as not only a community builder, as not only a definition of our city as an active, exciting town to visit and live in, but also as a legitimate economic driver.
