As the pedestrians (especially the students) have to struggle to cross this junction, traffic being heavy there is always a risk of someone getting hit by fast moving vehicles and it is not at all safe to cross in front of the college where there is no zebra crossing nor signal lights.
This is a very big issue for thousands of students who are hurrying to catch buses cross this road on a daily basis and find it very difficult to cross due to the heavy traffic.
In rainy season it becomes more and more difficult and drivers cannot see students crossing very clearly. We all know that prevention is better than cure so, we ask the Government body who is responsible for this to provide a skywalk in front of the college before any mishap happens.
