My friends and I are very keen mountain bikers and BMXers. We have tried to build some jumps in the local woods but the landlord takes them down. This means that we don't get to bond, have fun outdoors and stay active. 

There are currently no outdoor facilities or amenities for older children and teenagers in the village. I know a pump track would get huge use, bringing together kids in the village of all ages. The biking community is very friendly and I am sure they would treat a Wivelsfield pump track with respect, only bringing positives to the village.

In addition, with all the new houses being built, there will be even more older children and teenagers in the village, with little to amuse them beyond screens and devices!

I don't think enough people know how much this means for kids who want to stay active and socialise, being positive for mental and physical health for kids in the village. I can't stress enough how important exercise is for kids these days. In contrast, the facilities in the village offer nothing for older kids and teenagers at present. 

There is also plenty of spare space around the Rec/Park.  I would welcome an initial feasibility study.
