Build a Modern Skatepark for Johnson City, Tennessee

Every generation deserves a place to ride.

Johnson City has grown tremendously over the years, but our public skatepark has not kept pace with the needs of our community.

We're asking the City of Johnson City to prioritize the planning and construction of a new, modern concrete skatepark that serves skateboarders, BMX riders, scooter riders, inline skaters, and families of all ages.

A new skatepark would:

Provide a safe, positive place for youth to be active.

Encourage healthy outdoor recreation.

Attract visitors and regional events.

Support local businesses.

Give Johnson City a destination the entire community can be proud of.

We envision a park that includes:

A beginner area

Street plaza

Flow section

Bowl

Lighting

Shade

Seating

Water fountains

Restrooms

Accessible design for all skill levels
