We, the undersigned, believe that Charleston, SC, deserves a dedicated drag strip to foster safe and organized motorsport activities. Currently, residents must travel significant distances to access existing tracks, limiting participation and enjoyment. A local drag strip would not only provide a venue for racing enthusiasts but also promote community events, boost tourism, and enhance local businesses. 

We urge city officials to prioritize this initiative, recognizing the cultural and economic benefits of establishing a drag racing facility in our vibrant city. Let’s bring the thrill of drag racing closer to home!
