Build a competitive swimming pool on campus

Build a competitive swimming pool on campus
The Issue
Building a competitive swimming pool open to the student body would create so many new opportunities such as:
- Competitive Swimming
- Competitive diving
- Waterpolo
- Synchronized Swimming
- scuba lessons
- water zumba
- water yoga
- hydrotherapy for all athletes
- Water Safety Instructor & Lifeguard
- literally anything you could think of that would require a reasonably deep pool.
Grand Canyon University is home to several aquatics sports such as GCU's D1 swim team, waterpolo club, GCU Triathlon and GCU club swimming, but none of these teams can practice on campus. These clubs have to drive anywhere between 15-30 minutes and cater to the needs of those who are lending their pools. If GCU were to build a pool on campus, not only would it benefit the teams by lowering costs and save time otherwise used for traveling, but it would also benefit the student body as it gives them another avenue for activities.
