1. 24-hour window between PCR and arrival at school won't help. Covid has an incubation period extending up to 14 days, and infections occurring after PCR tests can't be ignored. Students will most likely get infected in the hospitals when they go for tests, and it won't be shown in any reports.
2.Student dorms have four people in them. Dining halls have 8 people at a table. And then classrooms. Maintaining social distancing in class is not possible unless they split classes into more sets than they used to have. If so, teachers will have to split times between classes, so they'll be forced to spend less time on each class. This makes no sense, canceling online classes because they were "ineffective" and teaching for less duration in-person.
3.There is no reason to open the school. Online classes are effective. If you think about those few students not paying attention in online classes, will opening the school really make a huge difference? Students are learning at home, from online classes, group discussion in chats, sharing notes online, and through vast online resources. In school, with teachers teaching for less time and students spending little or no time with their peers, all of this will negatively affect their studies.

In these uncertain times, it's not a good idea to open the school. The merits are heavily outweighed by demerits, and there is strong reason to believe opening the school might be quite dangerous. We request the school management to keep the school closed unless deemed safe and it is absolutely necessary to do so
