Boy Scout leaders (past & present), Girl Scout leaders (past & present), and community leaders were invited to attend a series of meetings. We have formed a committee and are working on the non-profit. A group just got back from a meeting in Charleston with the executive board. We will not know anything for a while, but there were 3 things proposed. 1. They keep the property and we help them with the repairs that they are concerned about. (Roof and Bridge) 2. They give us the property (in the county parks & recreation name) and we take care of it as a group. 3. They give us time to raise the $ and a discount on the property. Time and price is not available at this time. When more information is available they are going to let us know. The executive board is going to discuss it tonight and a decision has to be made by the entire board. This could take a while. Anybody that would like to help is welcome.
