The purpose of this petition is to ... 1. Spread the word that it's being sold. 2. Make sure that people know the reason it is being sold - the council did a 4 year study on camp use, # of scouts in the area, and cost to operate. Camp Kiashuta wasn't being used as much and the number of scouts are down in the area. 3. SAVE the camp as a non-profit community camp - not allow it to go to an individual so we can still use it. 4. After we get a 501C3 - nonprofit, we will be able to set up an account and raise money to buy it and later on - to sustain it. Thank you all for your support!! #SaveCampKiashuta
