BSD Students started this petition to BSD IT Admins

Hello. Bellevue School District is invading their students' privacy via an app called ClassPolicy, which, when downloaded in the student's version, allows the teacher to see their computer screen. ClassPolicy also does the job of blocking websites, which can somewhat disrupt some class activities by blocking the website. It can also limit sources for research, as ClassPolicy blocks some websites, as previously mentioned. Just like websites might be blocked, so can apps. ClassPolicy can do more than this, but I won't mention everything it can do here.
ClassPolicy was intended to be a useful tool for teachers, and it can be. However, it can also make students feel uneasy and as if they are being spied on. This sort of thing shouldn't be happening today, in this place. We should, at least, be able to decide whether or not we have ClassPolicy installed on the computers we use almost every day.
If BSD listens to us and makes changes, us students will get more privacy and more freedom. If we are ignored, our privacy will continue to be invaded and many websites will be blocked. Please help us bring the change we need.
