Hi, all!

This is a petition so that Bryn Mawr College students can compel the Bryn Mawr College Admin and Provost Tim Harte to continue the same CR/NC option that was available to students last semester.

The conditions we are facing in this pandemic are the same, and in some ways, worse, than they were in the Spring of 2020. The flexibility that being able to choose CR/NC was one that was beneficial and considerate to students. Moreover, students should not be expected to dip into their four CR/NC for such an overwhelming and unprecedented time. As last semester, this will be optional for students—but it should be something available to students because this pandemic affects us all in different ways. This petition also asks that students are able to see their grades before they choose which courses they would like to convert from graded to CR/NC.

Tim Harte has asked for a demonstration of how many students are interested in such a program, so please consider signing this petition to demonstrate that this is important to the BMC community and should be available this semester, after grades are available to students.
