**Some of our representatives are resistant and not willing to get this on the ballot for November 2020 without going through Steve Taylor (who does not support this referendum); therefore, we've decided to come up with a petition to prove to the government officials that the county wants the opportunity to vote on this. It is time for a change Bartow! Bartow is only 1 of maybe 8 counties (including very rural areas) that still has a sole commissioner! Bartow is growing more and more and needs a board of commissioners! Don't allow Steve Taylor to continue making all the decisions for the whole county on his own! It has been over a decade since the last time this was voted on and this county has definitely grown since then! However, it has to be made known by the people that it is wanted!

**a board of commissioners would not cost the tax payers more money. They would work part time and the county administrator would continue to be full time. In most cases them all being part time would equal if not be less than what the sole commissioner makes.
