Over 160 people visited Lowewood on Saturday to show their support for the Museum on the last day of the James Ward exhibition. As well as the Exhibition they were able to view the wonderful collection of local history pieces on display, look through albums of local images and view the wonderful artwork created for the World War One remembrance exhibition last year.
Thank you to everyone old and young who came along, we even had a visit from a curator from a prestigious London Museum who could not believe that Broxbourne Council are going to close this local community heritage and cultural centre.
This followed on from last Tuesday’s open meeting which was very well attended with over 100 people present. The meeting generated much comment and the future strategy of the Save Lowewood Campaign was discussed at length.
