The Broward Sheriffs' Office came to my friend Billy's house Monday night to issue a restraining order to somebody who used to live there but no longer does. They have tried to serve this restraining order 2 times prior, but this person has not lived at the residence since Billy and Frankie moved in(8 months ago). When a friend of his opened the door for the police, Frankie, a pit-bull mix, ran out to go see who was at the door. He is a big teddy bear and one of the sweetest dogs I know. He would never try hurt anyone. Like any other dog that hears a knock at the door he was excited and slipped outside. He wasnt threatening or attacking, he was just checking out who was there. Anytime I've ever gone over there Frankie has greeted me with a giant hug and lots of kisses. The sheriff then proceeded to shoot Frankie twice in which he would claim "self defense." In actuality Frankie was shot three times: once in the face, once in his hip, and also through his front leg. My friend Billy is now responsible for a medical bill for Frankie of over $3,000. The police and animal control also left Frankie at the scene disregarding his blatant injuries which very well could have been fatal. Luckily he's gonna make it. I am very disgusted with our police department. Stand up for Frankie and Billy. Please show support!

Don't just do it for Billy, do it for Frankie, who can't speak for himself.
