The Meatless Monday Initiative is spreading throughout the country. It has been adopted by over 100 Universities, 20 K-12 school districts and dozens of public and private institutions, such as Aspen School District, CO, Baltimore City Public Schools, MD, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, FL, Oneida County Schools, NY, Los Angeles Public Schools, CA, Philadelphia, PA, San Jose, CA and San Diego, CA. This initiative has even spread around the world, reaching 36 countries. Participating in Meatless Monday is beneficial for your health, the environment, your wallet, and the welfare of animals. As the 6th largest school district in the nation, adopting Meatless Monday would prove a huge victory for the movement and would benefit the whole community.
