Safer crossing for children at St Mary Cray Primary
Safer crossing for children at St Mary Cray Primary
The Issue
The main road outside of St Mary Cray primary is incredibly dangerous for parents to cross safely with their children and either a lolly pop person or zebra crossing needs to be put outside the school, We can only make a change as parents as Bromley council will listen more coming from the parents of the school who have to deal with this road on a daily basis.
With the side road to the school now being closed during certain times footfall on the main road has increased making this even more unsafe for the children as one side of the road tends to be used more than the other side, but this could change if we had a safer crossing area nearer to the school.
Unfortunately the school does not have funding for a lolly pop person so we really need to come together and get as many signatures as possible on this petition for the council to take notice and make the road safer for us and our children.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
