No symbol that represents pain, division and difficult history should fly over HWY 25 in Travelers Rest , SC. The confederate T-shirts and signs in the windows, around this business should be removed. My family and I travel this Hwy consistently. You can’t avoid seeing it!  It’s very offensive. It’s offensive to not only African Americans, but the non-black community as well! The flag served as a potent symbol of slavery and white supremacy, which has caused it to be very popular among white supremacists in the 20th and 21st centuries. It’s been there for years!! Enough is enough! It’s time to have it REMOVED!
