Hello everyone, I'd like to firstly say a massive thank you to everyone for tuning into the live Question and Answer on Thursday night. It was a privilege to be involved and to meet two incredible petitions and people Richard and Kamal, who are also fighting for justice and freedom for their loved ones who are wrongly imprisoned in Iran. I spent Friday night reading all the messages and questions, myself and the other 5 men's families were so touched...Thank You. As you may or may not know we are having a peaceful protest in London in a weeks time. I understand it is hard for alot of people to attend, some of you live abroad, or simply too far from London to join us. However you can still help us make the day a success. The plan is to get as many people as possible to write a postcard to the Indian High Commissioner and to Downing street. The idea behind this is that once you've sent your postcard it changes so many hands, and can easily be read by so many people, from the man or lady who serves you at the post office to the post man, to the receptionist at the high commission, the security guard at downing street and the prime minister (whoever that may be come 8th june) A letter cannot be seen by all these people but a postcard may be. So I'm asking you all to buy two post cards and two stamps. On the back of your first postcard you can write the following: Dear Prime Minister, What are you doing to ensure our 6 Innocent British Veterans also known as the CHENNAI6 are returned home from the prison they are being wrongfully held in, in India? Please end this injustice and fight for them like they fought for you. On the second you can write the following: Dear High Commissioner, What are you doing to ensure the 6 innocent British Veterans, also known as the CHENNAI6 who are being held wrongfully in a Indian prison are brought home to their Families and the hundreds of thousands of people who are campaigning for their justice and freedom. Please feel free to use your own words if you so wish. The above are simply to help if you are stuck for what to write but want to send a postcard. Hopefully by the time we make it to London both the prime minister and Indian High commissioner will have received enough of these postcards to realise how much our men mean to not just their families but to the hundreds and thousands of people who have signed this petition and followed our campaign. Enough for them to take action. I know we can do this.... The addresses are as follows:- High Commissioner Shri.Y.K. Sinha India House Aldwych London WC2B 4NA Prime Minister 10 Downing Street, Westminster, London SW1A 2AA www.chennai6.co.uk www.facebook.com/thechennai6 www.twitter.com/thechennai6
