From Prison to Prime Minister

With the courts closed this month there is very little to keep the men focused on. There is next to no chance of a verdict coming through until at the very least June, and this is effecting the men hugely. Each day is dragging on with no positive news. Last week Billy sent me this letter writing from his cell in India to Theresa May. Its heartbreaking to read a letter from the proudest strongest man i know, literally begging for help. I only hope his letter can help Theresa May realise the effect this has on everyone involved. We could have every minister, MP, and campaigner fighting for the men' s freedom. But ultimately its down to Our Prime Minister - Theresa May to stand up and speak for our men. Tell the world that they are innocent of any crime, that they are protectors not prisoners and should be returned home to their family who love and miss them so dearly. Dear P.M Theresa May, For over the last three and a half years my freedom has been taken from me. As i sit in my concrete prison cell, nowhere to shelter from the over-bearing heat and in filthy and un-hygienic conditions, with no communication with my family. I am writing this letter to you, praying for you to hear my call for help. I have dedicated my life to protecting others, firstly as a soldier in the British Army doing operational tours in northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan. Secondly after leaving the army i found employment in the maritime security, in which i provided security through dangerous pirate infested waters, providing safe passage for innocent seafarers from all over the world. Never had i imagined i would end up in prison, for simply working and earning a living to provide for my family. I spent a lot of money doing courses to gain qualifications needed for maritime security, all courses accredited by maritime organisations. I am currently serving a 5 year sentence for crime i did not commit. I feel abandoned and neglected by the very government i have risked and would have given my life for in battle. I am begging you P.M Theresa May to do everything in your power to end this injustice, right this wrong doing and bring me home to my family. My first child turned 2 years old in February whom i have only met twice during his young life. Second time being in this God awful prison i am sitting in just now. I've missed the pregnancy, the birth, my sons first steps, his first day at nursery. i don't know what he likes to eat, what makes him laugh, I've never heard him speak. I am a father who has been denied to be a father for his son, most importantly my son is being denied his father. I am sure I am not alone when i say, if any wrong should come to a British Citizen the FCO and the British government should stand by them right that wrong stop injustice and ensure safety of British citizens. Since the injustice and wrong doing i have suffered since 18th October 2013 my faith in the British government has been lost. I know we are innocent, British government know we are innocent and i am positive Indian authorities know we are innocent..... Please fight for us me, like we fought for you. restore ours and everyone's faith in a country we believed would fight and protect its own. We are British Citizens who are begging and deserve to be protected by the British government. Please put a stop to this injustice, please out a end to this nightmare, please help get us home and re-united with our families and loved ones whom we miss so dearly.
