Bring war crimes charges against Donald Trump at the ICC
The Issue
Donald Trump waged an illegal war of aggression against Iran, a sovereign nation, challenging the very tenets of International Humanitarian Law. Acting on behalf of convicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump's actions were rooted in imperialist and conquest motives, all of which classify as WAR CRIMES. Under international law, Trump's actions in this unjust war not only fit the definition of war crimes but also distinguish themselves as crimes against peace. He foresaw and maliciously killed innocent civilians, indiscriminately bombing an Iranian school, taking the lives of 165 children.
Further crimes were committed with wanton destruction of civilian infrastructure, targeting power plants and bridges, essential to Iranian livelihoods. This wasn't just a show of power, but a strategic move to cripple a nation. Even more egregious was his participation in perfidy, deceitfully attacking during declared ceasefire periods to exploit diplomatic negotiations. Each of these actions starkly violates the principles enshrined in International Humanitarian Law.
Trump's rhetoric surrounding 'regime change' in Iran was nothing but a façade for a WAR OF CONQUEST, tantamount to crimes against peace as defined by international conventions. These actions demand accountability at the highest levels and a thorough investigation by the International Criminal Court (ICC).
We urge the ICC to initiate a full-fledged investigation into Trump's actions, hold him accountable under the fullest extent of International Law, and ensure that justice is unequivocally served. The world needs to see a precedent set that no individual, regardless of their former office, is above the law. The families of those affected by Trump's ruthless decisions and the global community demand justice. Please sign this petition to call upon the ICC to act decisively against Donald J. Trump and uphold the principles of justice and humanity.
