I am a passionate gamer and Twitch user from the Midwest. Like many others, I have always dreamed of attending TwitchCon, but the distance and cost of travel to California or the East Coast has made this dream unattainable. It is not just me; there are thousands of us in the Midwest who share this predicament.

TwitchCon is an annual convention for the live streaming video platform Twitch.tv. It's an opportunity for streamers, developers, and fans to connect and celebrate gaming culture. However, since its inception in 2015, it has never been hosted close to the midwestern states.

The Midwest is home to over 68 million people (US Census Bureau), many of whom are avid gamers and followers on Twitch.tv. Hosting TwitchCon in a central location like Indianapolis would make it more accessible for these fans who cannot afford long-distance travel.

We believe that everyone should have access to such an important event regardless of their geographical location or financial situation. By bringing TwitchCon to Indianapolis or another Midwestern city in 2024, we can ensure that more people can participate in this celebration of gaming culture.
