Prior to 2020 the S93 bus used to enter the College of Staten Island campus and leave students conveniently in front of building 1A. This mode of transportation was very convenient for students, saving them time, energy and money.

The S93 bus stopped running through the campus due to the pandemic, and now leaves students at the main entrance. This has negatively affected both students and staff, who now must rely on the unpredictable and unpunctual CSI loop bus to travel from the entrance of CSI to their class building.

Many students are now late to class and must walk from the entrance of CSI to their class in the extreme heat and soon will have to walk through the snow to get to class. Students travel from long distances to reach CSI and should not have to wait every 15 minutes for the loop bus and worry about the loop bus not arriving, tacking on an extra 30 minutes to their commute.

CSI needs to make the transportation of students and staff a priority and allow the S93 bus to re-enter the campus!
