In 2020, the annual 4th of July firework show in Longmont Colorado was canceled due to Covid. However, in 2021, Skyline Kiwanis decided to relocate the fireworks to Fox Hill Country Club. Unfortunately, this decision has caused inconvenience to the majority of Longmont citizens due to the lack of parking and accessibility. The vast majority are forced to drive a fair distance and pay $20 just to see fireworks they could have previously enjoyed for free and closer to their homes. Moreover, the paid parking is extremely limited and with only one entrance is very inaccessible.
