If I had to name one underrated character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it would be Sharon Carter(played by the amazing Emily VanCamp). Sharon isn't just a badass, she's incredibly smart, sexy, and sassy as all heck. Sharon is up there as one of the most badass women in the MCU, but she doesn't get enough credit. She gets so much hate from the writers and the fans, just because she kissed Steve in Captain America: Civil War. In my opinion, Sharon deserves more love. Everything was great, it was amazing when Emily came back as Sharon in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. That is until they made Sharon the Power Broker. I mean what the actual fuck was that for?! I know what you're thinking, "Sharon is a villain, she deserved that storyline." but I hate to break it to you, no she didn't, and no she isn't. SHARON DESERVED BETTER, she just deserved better. This is why Emily needs to come back to the MCU(on her own terms, of course, seeing she's a mother now), this is why we need to get Sharon back. Sharon needs a redemption arc, she needs a chance to shine in the spotlight instead of being pushed into the background or made into the antagonist. Sharon needs her own TV series or even her own movie, I know the fans who actually love Sharon would love to see Emily in a starring role in the MCU. If Marvel were to ever make this, it would definitely be called Agent 13. It would be epic to see Sharon's origin story, her childhood, how she got into the CIA, and how she became an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. The writers need to prove to us that Sharon is worth something more than what she got. So come on Marvel, don't let us down. Sharon needs her chance, she deserves better and is worth way more. Plus, Emily is an incredible actress, please make it happen, Marvel. Bring our girl Sharon Carter(and EVC) back to the MCU.
