I, Analiza Olivar, am a proud citizen of the Philippines who wholeheartedly believes in our steadfast leader, former President Rodrigo Duterte. His leadership has not only shown dedication and love for our nation, but also a commitment to protecting our people that is unparalleled. His decisions - especially his stand on the war on drugs - though considered controversial by some, have garnered support from the majority as they have seen the positive impact on our society. I witnessed first-hand the immense change brought about in the lives of drug dependents who chose to surrender and change for the better due to Tatay Digong's policies.

Despite the criticisms, Duterte's efforts have greatly improved the lives of many and have protected our children and the future of our nation. In my eyes and in the eyes of many fellow Filipinos, he is an admirable leader, a good father to his nation. Hence, I firmly believe that any legal issues concerning him should be rightfully addressed in the Philippines - our homeland that has jurisdiction over its own matters - and he should not be subjected to international trial in the International Criminal Court in the Netherlands.

The International Criminal Court's involvement is no longer relevant as it is no longer connected to the Philippines - and it is in our national court where President Duterte needs to stand, if need be. This petition is crucial to affirm our sovereignty and to safeguard the respect and justice due to our former leader, who has given so much for the sake of our nation.
