Relay For Life is an event held at school or a place of education to bring awareness towards cancer, its impacts on lives, and research on finding a cure for it. BACCSyt (Bishop Allen Canadian Cancer Society Youth Troop) is petitioning to bring Relay For Life to Bishop Allen Academy as a way to increase awareness and fundraising for the Canadian Cancer Society and to educate the BA community.

Relay for Life isn't just running, there will be different stations/activities to keep energy levels high, such as food trucks, different races (i.e. three-legged), water balloon fights and much more!

Relay would have happened sooner, but the BACCSyt Team was told that it was not possible for the event to happen due to another (Megan's Hug), which later on in the year, did not end up happening. Due to that, BACCSyt is petitioning to have a Relay at Bishop Allen because it is a necessary and vital event that every student should have in their education.
