Persona 3 is a JRPG originally released for the PlayStation 2 in 2006, best known for it's strong themes and characters, excellent story, striking aesthetic, and superb music.
Along with this, it's also a game that has touched the hearts of people, myself included, and holds a special place
especially for those who have struggled with the importance of their life. 
Despite it's vital genre defining influence on games both in and outside of the Megami Tensei franchise, the game itself exists in a strange space, as it is not officially available on any platform other than it's original console, the PlayStation 2, and digitally on the PlayStation 3. 
There is a port for the PlayStation Portable version (Persona 3 Portable), and a remake (Persona 3 Reload), and while both of these games are good and enjoyed by players,
neither of these games offer the uniquely special experience of the original PS2 title. 
There are many people who want to play this game and see why its earned the reputation it's known for,
and so I think there's nothing better to do than bring Persona 3 FES (the enhanced version of the original PS2 game) to modern platforms and gaming services such as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam. 
I would ask that anyone reading this to please consider signing this petition, in hopes that ATLUS and SEGA will see that there are many who want Persona 3 FES to come to modern gaming platforms. 
This year, 2026, marks the 20th Anniversary of Persona 3's initial release.
I can't think of any better way to celebrate it than bringing this one of a kind game to be enjoyed on current day gaming systems.
