Did you know……🤔

Our neighborhoods are home toof the first neighborhood parks in The City of Kennesaw — Woodland Park & Butler Creek Park (now “Pine Mountain Park”).

30 years ago, Kennestonians told the City that these parks were unfit for recreation & to shut them down. Now, practically forgotten by the City & offering nothing more than under managed green spaces filled with weeds, poison ivy, trash & hazardous bridges, times have changed & so has OUR neighborhood.

Wouldn’t it be nice to….

• …have a close-by safe space to play outside with your family, children & pets?

• …see your tax dollars make an immediate impact in OUR neighborhood?

• …change the narrative about OUR neighborhood being a hotspot for crime?

•…update these parks with new equipment, signs & other safety features?

If Parks & Rec says that they care about all of their parks then why are neither of these 2 parks mentioned in their 2026 Kennesaw Playbook?

With YOUR support, we can help bring these parks back to life & give OUR neighborhood its very own safe spaces to play, once again. Please consider signing this petition in support of our City Council taking action towards improving OUR  2 neighborhood parks.

THANK YOU!!

TLDR: We just want our parks back. 🙏
