Bring OBJ back to the New York Giants

Bring OBJ back to the New York Giants
The Issue
I’ve been a diehard Giants fan for as long as I can remember, and like so many of us, I’ll never forget the excitement Odell Beckham Jr. brought to the field in his time with Big Blue. He wasn’t just another player, OBJ was the Giants. The swagger, the electricity, the passion… he made us believe again. He reminded us what greatness looked like.
And now, hearing him say in that CBS Sports interview that he “never, ever” wanted to leave? That hits deep. This is the same guy who lit up Sundays with those unbelievable one-handed grabs and gave us hope in games we had no business winning. He said, “I wanted to be the one [to win a Lombardi for the team].” You can feel how much he still cares. Giants fans get it…we want that too.
Odell’s connection to this team was never just about stats. It was emotional. He played like he belonged here. And the truth is, a part of him still does. Sending him to the Browns was blatantly disrespectful & the wrong move… almost as bad as benching Eli for Geno, but it’s now 2025. We don’t live in the past. This is the future.
Bringing OBJ back wouldn’t just be a nostalgic move, it’s a smart one. He’s a proven vet with the kind of experience, leadership, and edge that could elevate this roster. Pair him with Nabers? That’s dangerous. That’s exciting. That’s New York football.
So here’s the ask: Joe Schoen, Giants brass: listen to the fans. Bring Odell Beckham Jr. home. Let’s give him the shot to finish what he started and retire in blue. Once a Giant, always a Giant.
