I remember Expo 74 like it was yesterday. As a child growing up in Spokane, WA, this event was a highlight of my youth. The same year brought another joy into my life - the Muppets. One particular muppet, Mildred Huxtetter who debuted in 1974 and is also from our beloved city of Spokane, holds a special place in my heart.

Now as we approach the 50th anniversary of Expo '74, it seems only fitting that we invite Mildred Huxtetter back to her hometown for this momentous occasion. This would not only be an opportunity to celebrate our city's history but also pay tribute to one of its most unique exports.
