As a passionate fan of the legendary thrash metal band Megadeth, I find myself in a predicament. Recently, I missed the chance to witness their electrifying performance’s when they played in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, due to circumstances, Icouldn't fly to see them live, and with Megadeth's RETIREMENT  looming in the near future, I am heartbroken that I may never get the chance to experience their exhilarating show firsthand here in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. I want to ensure that we seize this opportunity before it slips away!

We boast a vibrant community of metal lovers who are yearning for the opportunity to see their heavy metal heroes perform live. The immense popularity of Megadeth and their iconic music transcends generations, bringing together fans, both young and old. Hosting a Megadeth concert here would not only satisfy the unmet demand of local fans but also invigorate the local music scene. Our unique, scenic landscapes provide an extraordinary setting for such events, potentially increasing interest from other artists and fans worldwide while promoting tourism and supporting local businesses.

Newfoundland and Labrador have a rich cultural scene, with venues capable of accommodating a concert of this magnitude, such as Mary Brown’s Centre in St. John's, which has previously hosted internationally renowned artists. The infrastructure for such events is established, and the community support is palpable. We also have outdoor venues, I am sure, could accommodate this event as well.

I actually asked Dave Mustaine a few months ago why Megadeth have never played in our province and he simply told me that they had never been asked!
So, let’s ask! To make this happen, we need to show promoters and their management team that there is a significant demand. Let’s gather 3000 signatures to turn this dream into a reality! Please join me in signing this petition to bring Megadeth to Newfoundland and Labrador. Together, we can create an unforgettable experience for fans throughout our region—and finally give us the chance to see Megadeth live on our home ground.
