Lilo was found on Oct 2013, he was matted, covered in ticks and fleas, and starving in the middle of Broadway. Joie Robbins and Klint Bohall found him and posted his pic on every Facebook page possible. Animal control was contacted about him and pictures were sent to animal control of Lilo. After 3 weeks of nobody claiming him, Joie took him home and began to make him a part of her family. In March of 2014 my daughter lost her puppy to parvo and was truly devastated, so Joie allowed my husband and I to adopt Lilo as one of our own. We have loved him, cared for him and when he got hit by a truck we took him to the vet and had his hip put back into place. Lilo is a HUGE part of our family and he is considered to be our child. On Dec 19 Lilo got loose and we spent over 2 hours out riding around town looking for him. His picture was posted again on Facebook and now over a year later someone else is claiming that he belongs to them. Animal control and the Police Department cannot make this guy return Lilo to us and says that this is a civil matter. Joie and I will be taking this case to court and fighting to get our dog back. We have every vet bill, tons of pics to prove he is our dog. Please sign this petition so we can bring Lilo home.
