The Kaleidoscope in Mission Viejo was once a vibrant destination for restaurants, entertainment, and community gatherings. Over time, however, much of the property has become underused, poorly maintained, and has lost many of the businesses that once made it a place people wanted to visit.

Our community deserves more than watching the Kaleidoscope slowly decline or be replaced entirely by residential development. The property sits in a highly visible location along the I-5 corridor and has the potential to once again become a destination for dining, entertainment, and social activity in South Orange County.

With thoughtful investment and revitalization, the Kaleidoscope could feature modern restaurants, outdoor gathering spaces, entertainment venues, and even nightlife that currently does not exist in Mission Viejo.

Instead of allowing this unique property to disappear or become another residential complex, we ask Kaleidoscope ownership and the City of Mission Viejo to pursue a revitalization plan that restores it as a vibrant destination for the community.
