Bring Katie to 1D: Help Australia's youngest female magazine editor meet One Direction

The issue

Nearly every girl on this earth dreams about meeting One Direction. Whether it's to see them live in concert or more importantly, to meet them face-to-face. Katie Clark (aged 15) an ordinary local school student from Sydney has been hailed as Australia's youngest female magazine editor after launching her first edition of Directioner magazine - The world's first regular magazine dedicated to British boyband phenomenon, One Direction. Which Katie also describes them as her idol.

On landing her dream job, She says, "it's more than a dream come true. I used to pick up magazines and wonder how they were put together and now I'm making one - it's a bit crazy".

In 2013, Katie made her first television appearance on Sunrise to be interviewed about the magazine and that viewers got the chance to see all of the behind the scenes of the making of the magazine. She also mentioned that she has ambitions of meeting the band in person the next time they return to Australia. If you were to ask Katie the question, "What would do you do if you got to meet them in person?" there would possibility be opportunites of either writing a report, have a one-on-one interview with the band for an upcoming edition of Directioner, have a private concert from them or probably even get to hang out with them. "I would love to meet them, it would be a dream come true." She says.

As for me the launcher of the petition, How I first came up with the idea as well became inspired with the idea of starting this petition to help Katie accomplish her dream of meeting One Direction in person particularly came after reading the first few issues of the Directioner Magazine, being one the ten finalists in a One Direction selfie competition last year and of course seeing Katie make her TV appearance on Sunrise last year in 2013 where she mentioned in the film footage of wanting to meet them personally.

At the moment, I'm spreading the word about the petiton primarily through Facebook by posting status updates on the Directioner Magazine Facebook page so it keeps Katie and other readers of the magazine updated about the petition's progress. The outcome of the petition is currently not yet confirmed nor clarified of what is to occur whenever or not the petiton will reach the essential amount of 1000 signatures it is needing in order to help Katie accomplish her aspiration of meeting One Direction in person in 2015. It would probably depend on it's current success or even an approval from Katie or the Directioner team at Citrus Media on deciding on whether or not the petition will succeed.

However, one thing's for sure, as a Directioner and reader of this magazine, this petition has been especially put together not only to help accomplish Katie's aspiration of meeting One Direction in person but also to show Katie of how much she derserves to accomplish her dream of meeting One Direction along with the support from those who read her magazine Directioner, including other Directioners from all around Australia and worldwide who appreciate all of Katie's hard work and effort been put into the magazine such as keeping them updated with all the latest news and gossip about British Boyband, One Direction.
