CEO Tim Martin removed the world's best tasting beer beer from all Wetherspoons pubs in 2022. Addressing the Cambridge Union in the same year he labelled John Smiths drinkers 'awkward b******s'. 

While the pub mogul Martin may be wrong to have banished the the extra smooth pint from his establishments, he was correct in describing us as awkward. We shall never accept this decision and we are willing to boycott Wetherspoons until they see sense. 

The greatest insult was not his  'awkward b******s' comment but rather the replacement of John Smiths with an  inferior brand, Worthingtons. We will not compromise with Martin by accepting his offer of Worthingtons in lieu of John Smiths. The decision from Wetherspoons is a great betrayal and for once we are unhappy to be left with a bitter taste in our mouths. 

Sign this petition to ensure that one of the biggest pub chains in the country makes John Smiths more readily available to its customers. If you are not a fan of John Smiths then sign it for the millions of elderly people who drink John Smiths but who will not see this on line petition.
