Bring H Mart to Huntersville, NC

Bring H Mart to Huntersville, NC
The Issue
There are currently no Asian grocery stores within 20 to 30 minutes of Huntersville, NC. In fact, there are no international stores within 30 minutes drive from Huntersville. The closest a resident can get to find Asian and other cultural food is either south of Charlotte towards Matthews and Mint Hill for Asian groceries or East of Charlotte in the University area for Indian and other middle eastern groceries.
When residents of Huntersville, Lake Norman, and nearby areas in the north of Charlotte want Asian groceries and a wide array of fresh seafood and unique meat cuts, the closest grocery store they can visit is the Super G Mart in Matthews, which is 45 minutes away. And the Closest H Mart located in Cary, NC, is around 2 hours and 30 minutes drive.
Although the Asian population in Huntersville may not be as large as that of the university area or south Charlotte, there is an underserved, growing international community who would love convenient access to familiar food items they cannot find in a regular grocery store. More importantly, H Mart appeals to the non-Asian community as well. In H Mart's other branches, a diverse group of customers regularly enjoy its high-quality meats, produce, and grocery offerings. An H Mart in Huntersville will be sure to attract shoppers seeking hard-to-find items such as sushi-grade fish, miso paste, and Korean BBQ-style beef brisket. H Mart stores are also clean, comfortable, and well-designed which elevate the shopping experience.
With H Mart's current expansion plans, we hope it considers opening a branch in Huntersville, NC. There is a growing population of more than 900,000 residents in the Huntersville and Charlotte areas. The presence of major corporations and growing job opportunities result in making Huntersville one of the fast-growing cities in the Charlotte Metro area.
