Subject: Reinstate the Gifting Feature on Whatnot

We, the undersigned users of the Whatnot app, respectfully request the reinstatement of the gifting feature, which was a beloved and valuable part of the platform.

The gifting feature provided a meaningful way for users to show appreciation, support sellers and creators, and foster a stronger sense of community. It added a layer of fun, generosity, and real-time engagement that set Whatnot apart from other live selling platforms.

Importantly, gifting allowed members to recognize and uplift others in the community — especially those who regularly show up, engage, and support streams but may not have the means to purchase items. It was a heartfelt and joyful way to include everyone, regardless of financial ability, and created an environment where kindness and participation were celebrated.

Its removal has left a noticeable gap in the platform's community spirit. Many long-time users cherished the ability to give back to others in this simple but powerful way.

We understand that platform features evolve over time, but we believe this particular function offered both emotional and economic value. Therefore, we urge the Whatnot team to consider reinstating the gifting feature or replacing it with an equivalent solution that preserves the spirit of generosity and connection that it helped build.
