It's almost impossible to think of someone who doesn't love music and pop culture legend Dolly Parton! Over the course of her 68 year career, Dolly Parton has sold over 100 Million records. She is arguably one of the most prolific, universally beloved, once-in-a-lifetime artists of our time and we hope to convince her to come to Townsville, Tropical North Queensland (Australia) to play at Queensland Country Bank Stadium. As seen when pop icon Pink came to Townsville; having such a massive star play in our regional city brings in a massive boost to our economy (according to Townsville City Counsel Pink brought $50 million) but bringing such a legend to our town means much more than that. Dolly Parton has for generations brought people together and has meant so much to so many people of all walks of life, including so many of us North Queenslanders.
