The Philippines men's national basketball team, commonly known as Gilas Pilipinas, is managed by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP). The SBP have assigned Coach Tab Baldwin as a program director which eventually turned into a team's head coach. They made a program to develop new young players for the upcoming 2023 Fiba World Cup. 

Few years ago, they went into bubble and do a lot of intensive trainings for the recent Fiba Window. Coach Tab have selected non pro players and most of them are came from different college basketball teams. At first, people have doubts with his ideas because these players had only low experience compare to Thailand, Indonesia, and its rival, the Mighty South Korean Team. But everybody was shocked because during this Window, they have defeated these teams and they almost defeated the Serbian Team when they joined some league in Europe. It was very clear for the fans that the system of Coach Tab Baldwin was so good and very effective.

After that particular FIBA Window, Tab Baldwin have proven himself as a coach that he can create a young team that can compete in the world stage. 

Few weeks later, after that tremendous job, Tab Baldwin was replaced by a former head coach of Gilas, Mr. Chot Reyes. Although, he did a lot of good achievements from the past but his system right now is not effective anymore. It could have been an advantage because he was using pro players from the Philippine Basketball Association and these guys has a lot of experience internationally. Now, most of the fans were very disappointed to the SBP's decision until this upsetting moment in 2022 South East Asian Games came in. They lost to Indonesia and they almost lose to Thailand. Remember that it was just last year when Gilas Pilipinas had defeated these teams under Coach Tab Baldwin's system. They've done a good job very well.

Now, we made this petition to bring Coach Tab Baldwin back including his selected players. Please let's save the Philippine Basketball from the SBP and Chot Reyes.
