As a student at Davidson College, I am writing this petition on behalf of many of my peers who share the same sentiment. We believe that our campus should have a Chick-fil-A. The college administration has previously denied this request due to political reasons, which we find unreasonable.

Chick-fil-A is more than just a fast-food restaurant; it's an institution that provides quality food and service, and it's something that we believe would greatly benefit our campus community. According to QSR magazine (2019), Chick-fil-A was voted America’s favorite fast-food restaurant for the fourth year in a row, demonstrating its popularity among consumers.

We understand and respect the college's commitment to uphold certain values. However, we also believe in the importance of choice and diversity on campus – not only in terms of academic offerings but also when it comes to food options.

By denying us access to popular eateries like Chick-fil-A based on political reasons alone, we feel our voices as students are being overlooked. We urge you to reconsider your decision and allow for more diverse food options on campus by welcoming Chick-fil-A.
