Make Frozen Margs Affordable Again

We lost them. Both of them. Blockheads and Mother Burger are gone, and New York City has not been the same since.

These were the spots where you could walk in with $20 and leave full, buzzed, and at peace with the world. A frozen marg that could rearrange your evening plans. A burrito that weighed more than your laptop. Chips and guac that made a bad week feel fixable. All without having to open your banking app and whisper “what have I done.”

Now? Now we’re out here paying $18 for a margarita that tastes like a suggestion. $16 for guacamole served in a portion size that should be illegal. The affordable night out in NYC is on life support, and the closures of Blockheads and Mother Burger might be the final blow.

This is bigger than two restaurants. This is about a way of life. The $20 night out was a New York City institution, and we need it back.
