Bring back YouTube’s dislike count!

Bring back YouTube’s dislike count!
The Issue
Removal of the dislike count helps promote trashy videos, as the content creator can push as many trash videos out as possible, with no repercussions. Sure, the YouTube algorithm and the content creator can see the dislikes, but the removal of the dislike count removes the accountability the public can bring to make sure that content creators aren’t getting lazy with their videos.
The main argument argument for removing dislike count is that it will foster positivity. This statement is false as more people will spread their negativity in the comments, since they know their opinion won’t be seen by others in the use of the dislike button. Their opinion will be displayed in the comments in a more nasty way, often with the use of vulgar language. Obviously, removal of the dislike count will foster negativity, not positivity. Trashy videos (e.g YouTube Rewind 2018) will get dislikes. There’s nothing you can do to stop the negative feelings towards those videos.
Obviously, we should bring back the YouTube dislike button as a sense of accountability to our content creators, who make money off of our clicks and our eyes, even if we don’t like it.
