I remember when Texas winters meant throwing on a hoodie, pretending 48° was an arctic expedition, and posting pictures of the one patch of frost on my windshield.

Now it’s just:

March: Summer
April: Summer Lite™
May: Summer+
June: Satan’s front porch
July: Surface of the sun
August: The sun apologizes and turns the heat up anyway.

At this point, “winter” is just that one random Tuesday where it drops to 62° and everyone breaks out boots, scarves, and chili recipes.

I’m not asking for a blizzard. I just want to feel my face outside without it feeling like someone pointed a hair dryer at me.
