Twisted Treeline was removed on 19th November 2019. Despite many people's fond memories of the gamemode , Riot intentionally abandoned it after reworking it in 2012 , working on updates for 3 whole years after completely forgetting about it.

Twisted Treeline was released in 2009 and had support til 2015 , 6 years of development down to the waste. And Riot waited another 4 years just to get rid of it.

There were many solutions suggested , many ideas to what could be done to make Twisted Treeline a semi-popular alternative to Summoner's Rift again , Riot didn't listen and removed it. All we got was 2 icons and an emote , which can never fill the void that 3v3 left in our hearts.

But I have hope and I believe that one day , Twisted Treeline will return to the gamemode roster of League of Legends. Even if it's going to be a temporary return like Hexakill , it would spark so many joy for old players and new players alike.
