A reality singing competition program in East Africa called Tusker Project Fame is supported by Tusker Lager. Musicians compete for monetary prizes and a 12-month record deal with Universal Music Group South Africa in a format akin to Project Fame South Africa and American Idol.

From 2006 through 2013, 5 seasons of Tusker Project Fame were broadcast. Everyone who can sing and perform or sing and play an instrument is entitled to take part, however they must be at least 21 years old.

The show united East Africans every Sunday as they rooted for their favorite contestant to win. The show would start with auditions and the judges that included Ian Mbugua, Juliana Kanyomozi and Hermes Joachim would narrow it down to 25 contestants. During the week, the contestants would go through vocal coaching preparing for their Sunday performances. At the end of each episode, one contestant would be voted off. 

With the rise of social media and increase in talents across East Africa, the show would be a great platform to help talented artists to showcase their craft and also learn and improve whilst also building an audience. 

Therefore this petition demands that the East African Breweries and Diageo PLC bring back Tusker Project Fame.
