Bring back Tower of Doom to Blooket
Bring back Tower of Doom to Blooket
The Issue
Blooket, a platform many of us have come to love for its engaging and educational games, has recently removed one of its most beloved game modes – the Tower of Doom. For many players, including myself, Tower of Doom wasn't just another game mode; it was the best mode ever.
Imagine the excitement of strategically battling through levels, each one more challenging than the last, making critical decisions, and feeling the rush of victory. It was a mode that not only entertained but also sharpened our strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. The thrill, the challenges, and the sheer joy of playing Tower of Doom made it a favorite for many of us who used Blooket.
Without Tower of Doom, Blooket just isn’t the same. This game mode was more than just an optional play mode; it was a staple for many students and educators who used it as a fun way to reinforce learning. Educators found it particularly useful because it allowed students to engage in learning while having fun, blending education and entertainment seamlessly.
What's more, Tower of Doom provided a unique way of interacting with the platform that engaged students more deeply compared to other modes. It also allowed them to collaborate and compete in a way that was both educational and entertaining. Removing it has left a void that other game modes just can’t fill.
We understand that changes and updates are necessary for any platform. However, the removal of such a pivotal game mode without replacement or consultation with its key users feels like a step backward.
We call on the developers at Blooket to listen to the community that supports them and to bring back Tower of Doom. Let's preserve what made Blooket special for so many of us and continue fostering an environment where learning is embraced through fun and engaging methods.
Sign this petition to show your support for the return of Tower of Doom and help make Blooket the best it can be for everyone.
