We are grateful to Hackney Council and Better for building the new soft play at Clissold Leisure Centre and their commitment to providing a space for our children to play.

As parents of toddlers, we don’t feel that the new permanent soft play is a safe or enjoyable space for our under 5s to play and lots of us have had difficult experiences at the new soft play where we worried for our toddler’s safety.

We are asking Hackney and Better to bring back Toddler World for one session a week so our toddlers have a safe, open space to play indoors in such crucial years. We recognise how tight finances are so we hope this would be a self-funding solution as the equipment is already there and we know the sessions, particularly on a Friday, were very popular and we are willing to pay for them.
