My heart hurts guys. In 2006, high school musical came out. I was 7. My mom and I were at Walmart, and I found one of these exact magazines. I would read the celebrity news, gossip ect. However, my favorite part? The posters. My room was a montage and labyrinth of posters from 2006-2017. I was in Walmart yesterday in search of tiger beat or J-14 just out of curiosity, and my heart left unfulfilled. I then decided to look up this information on google and my heart died when I saw that issues of magazines had been discontinued in stores. The internet truly has ruined simple happiness’s for teens. They’ll never experience this. The thrill of reading the gossip, the interviews, the quizzes to see who your celeb boyfriend or best friend would be, tearing posters out to place on your walls, cutting out smaller pictures to glue on your back to school
Composition notebooks for science ect because you thought it looked so cute and would last forever after putting packing tape on it to seal it all together, or even the times you would get to see different fashion trends of the times. The world needs to go back to this. I’m willing to create a petition for this just for them to reissue older ones from 1985-2019.
