I fondly remember when my favourite shows aired on Treehouse TV; our favorite shows like Roll Play, Trucktown, 3rd & Bird, This is Daniel Cook, This is Emily Yeung, Waybuloo, Toopy & Binoo, Mr. Maker, and The Wiggles. This channel offered more than just these programs; it also aired interstitials like Toopy & Binoo Vroom Vroom Zoom, Toopy & Binoo, Roll Play, This is Scarlett & Isaiah, and 4 Square. Treehouse TV & Corus Entertainment-produced specials, movies, and presentations were also regular program staples on the channel, including the described video.
Sadly, these quality shows have been replaced, robbing current and future generations of children of the chance to enjoy these timeless classics from 2011-2015. Instead, the content has grown repetitive, with an overreliance on short 5-minute Peppa Pig episodes which lack the variety and fresh content that the channel previously offered.
Treehouse TV was renowned for its unique programs with robust educational and entertainment content. Studies have shown that varied television content contributes to improved cognition in children, stimulating creativity and learning (Dooley and Downes, 2015). Most importantly, we need everyone's help to contribute to the petition and bring back the Treehouse TV logo too to every Corus Entertainment headquarters in Toronto
Let's rally the power of our collective voices to bring back Roll Play, 3rd & Bird, Waybuloo, Toopy & Binoo, Trucktown, Mr. Maker, This is Scarlett & Isaiah, The Wiggles, Toopy & Binoo Vroom Vroom Zoom, This is Scarlett & Isaiah, 4 Square, some episodes of Peppa Pig to fit in the timeslots, Treehouse TV's interstitials, and it's Treehouse TV movies and presentations, produced and owned by Corus Entertainment (with described video) to the Treehouse TV channel. Let's bring back diverse and entertaining content for our children's mental and emotional development. We ask Corus Entertainment, Canadian Radio Tele-Communications Commission and Treehouse TV: reinstate these beloved shows to your broadcasting schedule.
Our past should not be erased, it should be treasured. Please sign this petition and support our cause to bring back our favorite shows to Treehouse TV.
